I’m Patricia, the founder of Half Asleep, and I wanted to give you a warm, personal welcome to our blog: The Dream Street Journal.
A blog was always part of my vision for the Half Asleep brand. I even made a mock newspaper with the name "The Dream Street Journal" and snuck it in as a prop for our first photo shoot, knowing that while it didn't yet exist, one day we would make it happen. And we did!
We envision Half Asleep as your go-to destination for all things sleep - we never wanted it to be just about pajamas. We create our sleepwear because we believe that what we wear for the third of our lives we spend sleeping has an effect on our health, our wellbeing, and the way we feel about ourselves. In many ways, sleep is the most important activity of the day. Why? Because the more we sleep, the healthier and more productive we are, and the more likely we are to make our dreams come true. Our dreams are what get us up in the morning, excited to start our day.
The Dream Street Journal is our way of inspiring you to dream.
Check back regularly, we’ll be sharing everything you need for a good night and a good morning such as reading lists, morning rituals, and our favorite recipes, just to name a few. We’ll share stories of other female entrepreneurs and creatives in a series we call The Dream Street Diaries - my personal favorite! You’ll hear about their dreams, how they made them come true and we’ll get to know them personally; we’re asking all about their night time routines and favorite midnight snacks. Since sustainability is at the core of our brand, we’ll be sharing ways to help lower your impact on the planet and updates on how we are lowering ours. You’ll also learn more about new products and our initiatives as a mission-driven brand.
On here, we hope to highlight things that are important to us, what we care the most about, and share a bit about how to experience the Half Asleep world. As always, we would love to hear from you about what you want to read or discuss! We imagine this space as a conversation between you dreamers and us here at Half Asleep.
