Where did you get ready and why did you choose that location?
I got ready in the master bedroom of the Hacienda where the wedding took place. It had a beautiful view of the garden and the venue, which gave me a sense of calm and connection to the place where our big moment would happen.
What did you wear to get ready for your big day?
My bridesmaids and I wore a Half Asleep robe, which struck the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. It made me feel both relaxed and stylish as I prepared for the ceremony.
How did you feel in the moments leading up to the wedding? I felt a whirlwind of emotions—happy, excited, but also wishing time would slow down. It was all happening so quickly, and I just wanted to savor every moment
You got married in Mérida, Mexico. Tell us more about your wedding location and why you chose it.
We chose Mérida because it offered convenience and charm—a destination wedding that wasn’t too far from Miami. Tekik de Regil was the ideal venue: it’s grand, stunning on its own, rich with historical value, and didn’t require much decoration to bring out its character. It felt like the perfect place for our special day.
What was the highlight of your wedding day?
Honestly, the entire day. I wouldn’t change a thing. Every moment felt like a dream, and I was surrounded by the people I love the most.
Looking back, what advice would you give future brides?
On the day of your wedding, just go with the flow. Enjoy every second and savor the moment because it flies by so quickly. Don’t sweat the small stuff—if something doesn’t go as planned, no one will even notice. Just focus on being present and enjoying the celebration.
