Where did you get ready and why did you choose that location?

I did my hair and makeup with my friends and family at a salon. I had a lot of people from abroad, so I wanted everyone to get ready in one place. From there, I went home to get dressed with my immediate family. I wanted to be comfortable and there is nowhere better than home!

What did you wear to get ready for your big day?

To get ready, I wore my Half Asleep Ruffle Robe in white (Cloud). I got it embroidered with my wedding date on the sleeve and my new last name – it was such a special detail!

How did you feel in the moments leading up to the wedding?

Mixed feelings! I was nervous, happy, anxious, thrilled, emotional, stressed…

You got married in El Salvador. Tell us more about your wedding location and why you chose it.

I got married in El Salvador because that’s my hometown. I currently live in Miami but my family is still in El Salvador, so it was important for me to get married where I was born and raised.

How did you meet Michel and when did you know he/she was the one?

We met on Bumble (the dating app). I knew he was the one because of the way he spoke to me and treated me on the first date and beyond. Very early on, I noticed we had the same culture, values, and morals, and that was really important for me.

What was the highlight of your wedding day?

Walking down the aisle, seeing him there waiting for me, and knowing I was marrying the love of my life.
